Dear New Sprouts Families,

After taking two months to reflect on and evaluate the past school year, the New Sprouts Board has decided to embrace a new direction for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year: we will not be offering Saturday morning classes. We will focus instead on establishing and running weekday after-school programs in Pre-K and elementary schools.

If you are interested in having a Mandarin after-school program at your child's school, please contact me about how to work towards establishing a program there. In general, we will need a minimum of 5 to 6 students to start a class.

If a weekday program does not work for your child, and your preference for Chinese School is on Saturday mornings, please also reach out to me, and we may be able to host classes if there is enough interest.

It has been a pleasure for me getting to know every one of you and your child(ren). Thank you for your support through the years in sharing Chinese language and culture with the next generation.
